Sinem Demirci

Sinem Demirci was bornin 1991 in İstanbul,Turkey. She graduated from Fine Arts Faculty of Okan University in 2015 with a merit-based scholarship. She lives and continues her works as an artist in Istanbul.

Sinem Demirci defines the works with the concept of 'multiple self', which determines the different faces of the self. She explains that we have innumerable versions, each with their own residence, choices and paths, that these versions are like a kaleidoscope of identities that are unique and yet connected to the whole. Deformed, distorted features of portraits; It represents the different possibilities of the self, the different selves we can be, present and future.
