Pg Art Gallery presents the exhibition titled “Encounters with Khayyam” between May 6 and June 3, featuring works by Hanefi Yeter, Yunus Tonkuş, and Habib Aydoğdu.
“Each of them has a distinct style and a distinct stance. Each looks toward the humanistic from their own window; they reinterpret the mystery and meaning of life through their own lenses and creative discoveries.
With the excitement of a sincere, privileged, productive, and supportive friendship, they share their plastic ideals. From time to time, they come together with the enthusiasm of creating an original mode of expression and a truth of existence.
In this event, they gather for Hayyam; they meet in a small, quiet artistic celebration to evoke, through a plastic language, the secrets within his rubaiyat. In this encounter, the three artists—complementing one another through works shaped by a Hayyam sensibility—present a sincere and distinctive artistic sensitivity, a body of work woven together by the friendship of artists.”
