One of Croatia’s most prominent photographers, Stanko Abadžić, meets Turkish photography enthusiasts at Pg Art Gallery.
Having devoted his life to photography, the Croatian-born artist has traveled to many countries — influenced in part by his work as a photojournalist — capturing their streets and people through his distinctive perspective. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions across different countries and is also the recipient of many awards.
In his photographs, which reflect the serene and introspective aspects of life, the interplay of light and shadow takes center stage. Through his black-and-white images, imbued with traces of the past, the artist presents to the viewer the inner world of the individual who turns inward amid the chaos and conflict that dominate today’s world.
