Pg Watchlist is a recurring selection series that brings together artists closely followed by Pg Art Gallery. Through this platform, the gallery highlights artists whose practices it has observed over an extended period, recognizing both the consistency of their work and the significance of their ongoing development. Rather than being organized around a specific theme, each edition presents an editorial perspective that reflects the gallery’s view of contemporary artistic production.
Issue 01 brings together eight artists working in distinct directions. The selection is not based on a shared aesthetic approach or a common visual language; instead, it is shaped by each artist’s sustained commitment to their practice and by the depth and maturity their work has reached at this moment, making it meaningful to consider these practices alongside one another.
Pg Watchlist does not define discovery simply as the search for new names. Its primary focus is on following artistic practices as they evolve over time, making visible their transformations, and sharing this process with collectors. In this sense, each edition can be understood not as a single exhibition, but as a current chapter in an ongoing research process.
With each new edition, the selection will expand, shift, and be updated with new artists. Pg Watchlist will continue to evolve as a living platform that reflects the gallery’s forward-looking vision and commitment to supporting artistic development.
