Pg Art Gallery is proud to present Göksu Gül's fourth solo exhibition titled “Frisky” from March 23th to April 20th, 2019. In the exhibition, the artist’s ceramic works will be exhibited along with her paintings.
A rabbit
I'm dazzled by the sunlight
And the scent of earth fills my mouth
Going to take my shoes off and roll in it
An anthill
I kneel down and stick my head inside
A deadly majestic tree trunk
Going to take my coat off and hug it
Two ducks
I let the breeze carry me to the lake with them
It's biting but not chilly
Going to dive in with just my undies

Göksu Gül was born in 1984 in Ankara. Graduated from the Department of Drawing, the Faculty of Fine Arts in Marmara University in 2006, the artist exhibited her works in her solo and group exhibitions by combining her drawing skills with her great interest in nature. Following the artist’s process of reviewing and analyzing the nature, the processes of change and development related to the live forms are clearly noticed in her recent drawings in particular. The artist worked as a caricaturist in many magazines. She currently lives and works in Istanbul.
