Pg Art Gallery once again hosts Kemal Tufan’s sculptures from March 4 to March 30.
The exhibition, featuring the artist’s recent works, is titled “Protection.”
“Given the period we are currently living through—both personally and globally—the concept of protection feels particularly timely,” says Tufan, whose works once again take the human being and the inner world as their point of departure.
Based in Istanbul, Kemal Tufan realizes a significant portion of his work abroad, participating in biennials, symposiums, and exhibitions.
In recent years, alongside his “Underwater and Under-Ice Sculpture Projects” carried out both in Turkey and internationally, Tufan has also turned toward performance and video. His sculptures can be viewed throughout March at Pg Art Gallery in Bebek.
